Product Info

Join us for a practical Session on small bezel manufacture. Bezels are a simple way to mount and protect both gems and semiprecious stones. This Session will provide a practical experience on a number of techniques to ensure small (up to 6mm) Cabochon and faceted Stones can be secured using a bezel.

In this session you will experience making your own bezels, as well as how to use Chenier. You will attach them to a length of Round Sterling Silver Wire and set you choice of Coloured Cubic Zirconia (CZ).

As this experience will add to the skills already practiced in both the Ring making and Cuff/bangle making Sessions it is recommended that total novices / beginners complete either of these sessions first.

If custom rings and easy to make bezels, are your thing? why not take advantage of the Spinner or Fidget Ring Making Session which includes setting of a Single bezel using preformed Chenier.

Our workshop availability is:

  • Mornings 10am – 1pm
  • Afternoons 2pm – 5pm.
  • Evening 5pm – 8pm

To ensure personalised attention, each session is limited to a maximum of 8 participants, with a minimum of 3 required.

During the 3-hour session, you’ll gain hands-on experience in measuring, cutting, shaping, soldering, polishing, and finishing sterling silver bezels for small gems and Semi-precious stones. We will discuss which methods and skills can be applied to larger stones as well as techniques to save time and money, whilst adding personal touch to your work.  By the end of the class, you’ll have created two of your very own personalized sterling silver bezels.

In addition to the immersive learning experience, we provide tea, coffee and biscuits to keep you refreshed and energized throughout the workshop. Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, sharing their expertise and helping you bring your creative vision to life.
