For the perfect romantic moment, we offer special Wedding Ring Making Workshops where you can come to the Silver Room and with a little help and expertise from Mark, you will be guided in making your wedding rings for the perfect personal and romantic touch to your big day. We will document the day with photos to remember the experience and prove to friends and family that you really did make them yourselves!
At the end of the workshop you will have a pair of beautiful hand crafted rings, boxed, polished and ready for your special day.
Our workshop is totally yours for as long as it takes (most complete their rings in 4-5hrs):
- Sessions commence at 10am. (Please get in touch for a quote in your chosen metal, also to discuss any other requirements or additions such as engraving, stone setting or design additions).

What’s involved?
In your Special workshop you will:
- A Design session: Explore different upgrades and design ideas for your wedding Ring (or Partners) over a fancy Chocolate Fondue.
- Understand the essential materials and tools needed for wedding ring construction.
- Learn how to measure and cut your chosen material to your desired specifications.
- Practice using files and sandpaper to smooth rough edges and shape your metal pieces.
- Discover the soldering technique to join metal components using a torch and solder.
- Discover how to polish your wedding ring material to achieve a beautiful finish of your choice.
- Optional Techniques: Explore additional techniques like wire wrapping, stone setting, and texturing to enhance your jewellery’s appearance.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Understand how to properly clean and care for sterling silver jewellery.
What do I need to bring?
When attending a workshop at The Silver Room, we provide all the necessary materials and tools you’ll need for your Wedding Ring making experience. You don’t need to bring anything specific with you; just come with your enthusiasm and creativity!
Clothing Requirements
Attendees MUST wear closed-toe shoes to ensure safety during the workshop. If you wear prescription eyewear, please bring them along as well. Any long hair needs to be tied back. Avoid wearing loose flowing garments or scarves.
